Before I started a band, there was no way to communicate with artists so easily. When I started using social media, I thought a lot about the way I’d use it, but it’s just wonderful that fans can feel close to us despite the distance. On my Twitter, I even had a special appreciation event for reaching 4000 followers. It’s cool that everyone can enjoy the band not only at the live shows but on the internet as well.

July 22, 2014 – Japanese all-female visual kei band exist†trace announced the title and release date of their new album WORLD MAKER at their July 19 one-man live show last weekend. The news comes over two years after the release of the their first full album, VIRGIN, and it will be the first album to showcase the band’s new twin-vocal approach developed with recent singles DIAMOND and Spiral Daisakusen.

May 9, 2014 – All-female J-Rock band exist†trace released the music video for their single “Spiral Daisakusen” today, incorporating a variety of dark, abstract images and a touch of 80’s disco elements. The high-energy pop song was written to show the playful yet artistic side of the band. A statement from the band members said, “Doors inside our brains opened up, and various thoughts and possibilities flew out. We came up with a whirlpool-like image.”

June 6, 2013 – Japanese all-girl rock band exist†trace performed songs from their new single “DIAMOND” during the live concert last weekend at A-Kon 2013 in Dallas, Texas. Fans at the anime convention at the Hilton Anatole hotel became the first in America to hear the new tracks which go on sale July 3 in Japan as a Tower Records exclusive.

exist†trace led off the 12-song set with the single’s title track, featuring the the band’s new dual-vocal structure of lead singer Jyou and guitarist/vocalist miko. In addition to the new songs, exist†trace performed longtime fan favorites “Judea,” “KNIFE,” and “liquid,” as well as the hits ‘TRUE” and “DAYBREAK” from their major-label debut CD VIRGIN.
