“Wasuta has always been about promoting what we call Japanese ‘kawaii’ style. That’s one of the reasons we’ve always worn cat ears, to promote that. We want to be able to create a song that really communicates the things that we want to show the world about Japan – showing all of the parts of Akihabara culture that we personally love and want to show.”

Ririka: The most important thing for us is talking with the people who put in so much time and effort to come to see Wasuta. It’s the same whether we’re in Japan or overseas, but since we have fewer chances to meet up with fans overseas, the time where we can interact with them is even more important. Personally, talking to fans gives me energy, makes me feel brave, and it’s fun, too, so I’ll continue to cherish our connection with the fans!

[English]
Hazuki: I feel like becoming more proficient in different languages is still our biggest task right now! During the concert MC, I want to get the audience even more fired up, but there are still times when I can’t express myself very well, or my timing in a phrase is a little bit off because I’m not fully used to the words. But we’re not going to give up. We’ll get better each time.
