Japanese rock star Yoshiki will conduct a masterclass at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami Thursday, June 27.
Yoshiki was invited to make his first-ever academic presentation in the United States by the music school’s dean, Shelton G. Berg, with whom he has collaborated on many notable projects including the “Golden Globe Awards” theme and Yoshiki’s sold-out Carnegie Hall concerts.
Yoshiki will also present the school with a donation of $150,000 on behalf of his non-profit 501(c)(3) organization Yoshiki Foundation America, and Dean Berg’s office suite will be officially renamed in Yoshiki’s honor.
A limited number of seats are available for live masterclass, and fans will be able to view the presentation across the world on Yoshiki Channel and the Frost School’s social media channels.
