Love Live! Sunshine!! school idol group Aqours kicked off the three-day Anisong World Matsuri concert event at Anime Expo with an electric, non-stop performance at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on July 4, 2018.

Performing to a near-capacity audience of enthusiastic fans, Aqours flew in to the United States in the middle of their current Japan tour to deliver their first-ever solo concert in America, titled “LOVELIVE! SUNSHINE!! Aqours World Love Live! in LA ~Beyond the Pacific~”. The two-hour concert included their popular singles from the Love Live! Sunshine!! anime, plus special performances by their sub-groups CYaRon!, AZALEA, and Guilty Kiss.

All-Star Lineup of Nine Japanese Anime Song Performers Will Take Over L.A.’s Microsoft Theater on July 4th, 6th, and 7th

Anisong World Matsuri (AWM) and Anime Expo 2018 (AX) have announced the complete lineup of anisong artists for this year’s live concert series at downtown Los Angeles’s Microsoft Theater. The three-day music festival will be held in conjunction with AX 2018, the largest celebration of Japanese pop culture in North America, held July 4 – July 8 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
