Japan’s top maid cafe chain maidreamin wrapped up their first-ever tour of Canada in early September with live performances and fan events at Fan Expo Canada in Toronto, just a few weeks after hitting Montreal’s Otakuthon in August.

Mega-popular maid Peace — crowned Moe Kawaii Queen in Akihabara three years in a row — led the overseas expeditions in both cities, taking rare breaks from her maid service and TV appearances in Japan. “I really felt such a wonderful energy from our overseas fans, and it made me emotional sometimes,” she said. “maidreamin had the chance to join with our masters and princesses from Canada, and we received so many words of support from everyone. It was one of the most powerful experiences I’ve ever had. I’ll really cherish it.”

​Japan’s top maid cafe chain maidreamin gives Canadian fans a double dose of Akihabara culture this month, returning to North America to perform at the four-day Fan Expo Canada event at Metro Toronto Convention Centre, August 30 – September 2.

maidreamin’s upcoming appearance at Fan Expo Canada will be one of their biggest-ever overseas events as they present genuine maid cafe service and musical performances at the the largest comics, anime, and gaming event in Canada. Top maids Peace, Mariru, and Hima will represent the internationally popular restaurant chain, just a few weeks after maidreamin’s performance at Montreal’s Otakuthon earlier this month.

maidreamin will perform on the event’s main stage at the Palais des congrès de Montréal Convention Center, featuring a live music concert followed other fun weekend activities including an autograph session, fan Q&A, and panel discussion on authentic maid culture with popular Japanese maids Peace, Kaori, and Hazuki.

As part of their 10th Anniversary, top Japanese maid cafe chain maidreamin has announced a special, limited-time event for the Japanese mobile game “Kurokishi to Shiro no Maou”.

From now through December 15th, customers can challenge their favorite maids to a match of the real-time RPG in between delicious parfaits, drinks, and dancing at the maid cafe’s stores in Akihabara, Ikebukuro, and Shibuya.
