Ayane made her major singing debut in 2004 with the song “Kizuna,” used as the opening theme for the Japanese anime W Wish (for which she also wrote the lyrics), and gained increasing popularity for the theme “Nageki no Mori / Complex Image” from the video game Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Matsuri. In 2008, her song “Lunatic Tears” (from the PC game 11eyes) received the Golden Award for Theme Song Award of Bishoujo Game Awards. Ayane continued to build her reputation among fans with anime themes for “Steins;Gate Fuka Ryōiki no Déjà vu”, “Umishou”, “AYAKASHI”, “11eyes -Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shoujo”, and game themes “Higurashi Daybreak”, Trigger Heart Exelica”, “Memories Off Series”, and “11eyes” spanning Playstation 2, Playstation 3, PSP, XBox 360, PC, and Nintendo DS. Ayane has also also contributed to beatmania IIDX, Taiko no Tatsujin, and EXIT TRANCE. Ayane participated 2 years in a row (2009-2010) in the world’s largest anime music event, Animelo Summer Live. After her third album “Lyricallya Candles” was released in 2010, Ayane performed a one-man live at SHIBUYA-AX on 1/9/2011. She performed as a representative Japanese AniSon singer at “J-POP in China 2011” in Beijing in 2011, and was featured on NHK WORLD’s music program “J-MELO” In 2012, Ayane created the 10th anniversary song for “Taiko no Tastujin, titled “Red Rose Evange” and released a cover version of the s-CRY-ed theme song “Reckless fire “.
